Insert FemaSeed
Insert FemaSeed through the patient’s cervix, until the tip of the guide catheter touches the fundus.
Ultrasound may be used to confirm fundal placement.
Advance transfer catheter
Push slider forward to advance catheter into selected uterine cornu.
Inflate balloon
Depress StopLock syringe to inflate balloon in uterine cornu with tip oriented at targeted fallopian tube.
Using ultrasound, confirm balloon location in selected cornu.
Deliver washed sperm
Depress plunger to precisely deliver washed sperm into uterine ostium and fallopian tube.
Remove FemaSeed
Deflate balloon by pulling back on StopLock syringe. Retract transfer catheter by pulling back on slider. Remove FemaSeed from patient and dispose.
Note: FemaSeed can be rotated to deliver washed sperm to the contralateral tube.
